Established in 1993, RAO is one of the most important publishing houses in Romania, with publishing policy publishing translations from foreign languages. RAO edits both fiction and nonfiction in series of authors (Camus, Gide, Satre, Kafka, Marquez, Faulkner, Hesse, Dan Brown, Tolkien, John Grisham, etc.) or in thematic series for adults and children and young people . The Rao Publishing House offers a wide range of books for children, with a strong focus on the encyclopaedic sector.
